Oud Mood opens with a warm floral accord enhanced by spicy saffron, which immediately gives an enveloping oriental sensation. The construction is deliberately dense and ambery, without the medicinal side of pure ouds.

The heart evolves towards resins and amber, which bring a persistent balsamic warmth. The sandalwood-vanilla-smoky base establishes a characteristic sweet-smoky signature of the great Gulf attars.
